AKAD`EMEK 2026 STUDENT CONGRESS

The tenth "AKAD`EMEK Student Congress: The Voice of Labor Economics Students," organized in collaboration between the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Bursa Uludağ University`s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Turkish Metal Workers` Union Research and Training Center (TAEM), was held at the Büyük Anadolu Ereğli Hotel between April 23-25, 2026. This year`s congress, held under the theme "Youth, Labor, and the Future," was attended by over 200 academics and students from the Departments of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at 24 different universities. As in previous years, our department`s students represented with poster and paper presentations.

Human Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence Collaboration: Hyper Intelligence

A training seminar titled "Human Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence Collaboration: Hyperintelligence" was organized for students of the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Çankırı Karatekin University`s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, moderated by Dr. Caner DİLBER and delivered by İsmail YOŞUMAZ, a faculty member at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. The training covered the working principles of human intelligence and artificial intelligence, and explained in detail hyperintelligence, a new concept based on the interaction and combined use of these two types of intelligence.

National and International Project Cycle Training Seminar

A National and International Project Cycle Training Seminar was held. The "National and International Project Writing Process Training," organized for students in the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, was held in the Red Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, under the moderation of Faculty Member Caner DİLBER. The event was hosted by Mr. Fatih EROĞLU, Project Consultant for the Çankırı Municipality.

My Career Planning Process: My Career is Beyond My Dreams

A seminar titled "My Career Planning Process: My Career Beyond My Dreams" was held in the Red Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in collaboration with Dr. Ruhal SAMANLI (Labor Economics and Industrial Relations) and the Career Center. The sseminar began with Dr. Ruhal SMANLI`s opening speech. The seminar addressed career, the career planning process, and key points to consider during this process. Who participated as an invited speaker Associate Professor Melek YILDIZ, a speaker at the seminar, conducted a self-discovery mini-workshop and an interview simulation. Associate Professor Melek YILDIZ, also provided information to the participants on CV preparation and the effective use of LinkedIn.

Psychological Dynamics In Working Life

The event titled "Psychological Dynamics in Working Life" organized by Ruhal SAMANLI, a faculty member of the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, and featuring Elif AYTEN KAYAR, an expert psychologist at the Department of Health, Culture and Sports at Çankırı Karatekin University, as a guest speaker, was held on November 19, 2025, at the Red Lounge of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at 2:00 PM. Detailed information was provided about the basic psychological dynamics in working life in relation to the basic dynamics of working life during the event.

IDEA COMPETITION

SOSYALFEST FİKİR YARIŞMASI Kıymetli öğrencilerimiz, Sizleri toplumsal sorunlara karşı duyarlı hale getirmek, sosyal gelişiminize katkı sunmak amacıyla SOSYALFEST adında bir fikir yarışması düzenlenmektedir. Öğrencilerin gördükleri toplumsal bir sorunu ve bu sorunu çözmek için kurguladıkları sisteme ilişkin fikirlerini izah etmek suretiyle katılacakları yarışmada, nihai inceleme sonucunda dereceye girenlere; 25.000 Türk lirası (yarışma birincisi) 15.000 Türk lirası (yarışma ikincisi) 10.000 Türk lirası (yarışma üçüncüsü) şeklinde ödüller verilecektir. Öğrencilerimizin sosyal bir soruna ve ilgili sorunun çözülmesi için tasarlanacak sisteme ilişkin fikirlerinin (toplumsal bir model tasarımlarının) izah edilmesi için belirlenmiş bir format, sayfa sınırı yoktur. Öğrenciler fikirlerini, istedikleri şekilde ve sayfada (yarım sayfa, bir sayfa, iki sayfa…) metne dönüştürebileceklerdir. Ayrıca ister bireysel ister grup halinde katılım sağlayabileceklerdir.
